Warranty claims don't have to be complicated. Here's what happens from the moment you call us to the moment you drive away.

We Diagnose the Fault
Our technicians carry out a full diagnosis. This takes a minimum of half an hour's labour at £35 + VAT, and more for complex faults. We'll tell you the cost upfront.
We Contact Your Warranty Provider
Once we've identified the fault, we call your warranty company to raise the claim on your behalf. An admin fee of £30 + VAT applies for this call.
Repair & Completion
Once the claim is approved, we carry out the repair. If your policy's labour rate cap is below our £70 + VAT per hour rate, the difference will be payable by you.

Our Fees, Explained Clearly
We believe in being completely upfront about what warranty repairs involve. There are a few fees specific to warranty work that don't apply to standard repairs — we want you to understand them before you book so there are no surprises.
These fees exist because warranty work involves additional steps that standard repairs don't: diagnosis must be documented and reported, your provider must be contacted and dealt with, and in many cases the warranty company's approved labour rate is lower than ours. We're not a franchise dealer — we're an independent RAC Approved Garage, and our rates reflect the quality of work we deliver.
Important — Labour Rate Shortfall
Some warranty providers set a maximum approved labour rate that is lower than our standard rate of £70 + VAT per hour. If this applies to your policy, you will be responsible for paying the difference between what your warranty covers and our rate. We will always make this clear to you before any repair is authorised.

WSG covers up to 6,000 parts and faults. We work alongside WSG and can handle the repair and claim process for their policyholders.
ALA Insurance
A well-regarded warranty and GAP insurance provider, associated with the RAC. We accept ALA warranty claims and are experienced with their process.

Before You Book
Good to Know Before Your Warranty Repair
Warranty work has a few quirks that are worth understanding in advance. Here's what we've found most customers appreciate knowing before they arrive.
Don't Authorise Any Work First
Most warranty providers require that they authorise the repair before it's carried out. If you proceed without their approval, they are likely to reject the claim. Let us handle the call for you.
Diagnosis Always Comes First
Before we can raise a claim, we need to confirm exactly what the fault is and document it properly. This diagnosis is chargeable — from £35 + VAT — whether or not the repair ends up being covered.
Labour Rate Caps Are Common
Many warranty policies set a maximum hourly labour rate they'll pay — and it's often lower than our standard rate of £70 + VAT/hr. We'll always tell you if there's a shortfall before we start.
Not Everything Is Covered
Warranties vary hugely in what they cover. Wear-and-tear items like clutches, tyres and brakes are usually excluded. Pre-existing faults are commonly excluded too. Check your policy documents if you're unsure.
Keep Your Service History Up to Date
Most warranty providers require vehicles to be serviced to manufacturer recommendations. A gap in service history can give them grounds to reject a claim. We can help with servicing too.
