We offer four plan lengths through PaymentAssist: 3, 4, 6 and up to 9 months — all at 0% interest. You choose the term that suits your monthly budget when you apply. Longer plans mean smaller monthly payments but the same total cost either way.
Correct. PaymentAssist charges 0% interest and zero setup fees on all their plans. You pay exactly the amount you were quoted for the repair or service — nothing more. The only charges that can apply are if you miss a payment, so it's important to ensure funds are available on your payment dates.
Your total bill is divided equally by your chosen number of months. The first payment is taken on the day the application is approved, and the remaining equal monthly payments are collected automatically from the same debit card on the same date each month. For example, a £900 bill on a 3-month plan = £300 today + £300 for 2 more months.
For plans under £1,000 PaymentAssist carries out a soft credit check only — this does not appear on your credit file and won't affect your score. For plans over £1,000, a full credit search is required which is visible on your file. Multiple credit searches in a short period can affect your credit score, so only apply when you're ready to proceed.
Yes — PaymentAssist is available on our car servicing, repairs, wet belt replacements and any other mechanical work at TGPP-Autocare. If you're unsure whether your job qualifies, just ask us when you book.
You can settle your balance early by contacting PaymentAssist directly through their customer portal or by phone. Since there's no interest on 0% plans, early settlement simply means paying the remaining instalments — there are no early repayment penalties.
Yes — you can hold more than one plan at a time, subject to approval. Each application is assessed independently on its own merits.
